Description
More obvious weight and roundness from this older vine cuvée. Abundant aromatics and flavours of moscatels, quince paste, honey and honeysuckle, but again maintains energy and spot-on exotic fruit brightness to dryness. Creamy and lifted, ripe and bright, with lovely acid and mineral cut. So much intensity versus harmony and drinkability. 3.7g/L residual sugar.
“Value Mosel. It starts very citrusy with a top note of honeyed flowers, meringue, lime and a touch of green mango. It’s based on all things lemon: blossom, skin, pith, juice. Lemon tea with sour apple and bitter citrus skins. Texture is slippery upfront and with subtle dusty traction in the back. Minerally and savoury wine built around acidity.
