100% Blaufrankisch, and at 5g/L residual sugar, comparable to the allowable 4g/L in appellation Côtes de Provence. Great presence of flavour and again, a fine companion for bold food flavours, a particular favourite of ours for spicy dining, particularly Thai. The estate hooked us up with local artist Sara Filipovič to design a much-improved label – as a total package, this wine found quick favour among our crowded rosé offerings and we think represents cracking value and a distinct personality.
“Red fruits, musk sticks, some spice and blood orange. It’s slightly chewy in texture, but also a little glycerol with a kiss of sweetness, some orange peel and pear juice, and a finish of solid length. Good. Juicy.” 90 points, Gary Walsh, Winefront
