Château De Brigue Provence Rosé 2017

Description

40% Grenache, 40% Cinsault, 20% Syrah. Screwcap.

Modern in packaging and clean in style, this is the estate’s excellent entry wine.  It’s crisp with red currant and strawberry fruit, a gentle saline tang, easy to drink as ever, and builds complexity once in the mouth.  A little oiliness is present, with some herbal/bell pepper notes adding further interest.  Certainly refreshing, though fans out on the palate with a surprisingly detailed finish of brine, great complexity for its level.
